Güstrow Castle is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe. It was built in 1558 by Duke Ulrich von Mecklenburg.

In addition to its particularly magnificent stucco ceilings, one of the most important museum medieval collections and an early Baroque gardens.
