Linstow - The summer tour of NDR 1 Radio MV and the magazine makes North on 7 July from 19:00 clock in the Van der Valk Resort Linstow station. Special guest of the evening, the British pop group Right Said Fred. Furthermore, including the cult hit show with her cover band Paul McCartney Tell, the band summer tour TG and to experience the famous Dance Dance Formation Fanatic be. The show will be presented again by NDR 1 Radio MV moderator Ralf Markert and NDR television presenter Frank Breuner. Admission is free. Provides catering services for the Van der Valk team.

3. Linstow Oktoberfest from 15 - 23 September 2012

After the huge success of the second Linstow Oktoberfest in October 2010, the Van der Valk Resort Linstow now of 15 to 23 September 2012 a new edition. For this purpose, as in the first and 2 Oktoberfest expected back every day up to 2,000 visitors in the large marquee. On offer is a six-day show, music and entertainment program including original Oktoberfest bands, one afternoon, and a Bavarian Bavarian brunch.

The second Oktoberfest Gaudi then starts on Thursday (20.09.2012 / 11 to 16 clock) with a Bavarian afternoon (including drinks, one-course meal and coffee and cake). Then finally the weekend draws to a large Oktoberfest mood Wiesnzelt. This is ensured on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which last year celebrated frenetically "Bamberg Onion transgressors". The obligatory chicken or knuckles are missing then just as the specially bottled beer festival.

Bavarian Brunch on Sunday

On Sunday (9/23/2012) The Oktoberfest-goers can expect a special Bavarian brunch with live music in the marquee.

Linstow wedding fair again a magnet for visitors

Linstow - Over 1,000 visitors enjoyed the Van der Valk Resort Linstow in his eighth Wedding Fair. On the two days of the show presented itself again, numerous exhibitors from all parts of the country so others Bridal and Evening Fashion, photographers, designers, jewelers, perfumeries, beauty salons, bakeries, florists, or the Van der Valk Hotels in MV. Was accompanied by the wedding fair again an all-day exhibition and stage show including many fashion shows, presentations and live acts.

Mr. Germany contest on 10 December

Who is the nicest man in the whole country? This question is now for the 8th Time on Saturday, 10 December from 20:00 clock in the Van der Valk Resort Linstow answered. Operator is again the Miss Germany Corporation of Oldenburg, which owns all rights for the title of Miss and Mister Germany.

On Wednesday go to the participants in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the afternoon, take the "Mister" to the Christmas market then to Rostock and will organize a donation collection campaign in favor of the daycare centers in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The days are then available to intensive rehearsals and photo shoots on the program.

Family TIPI-Day and premiere of the Native American Show on 2nd of July 2011

Linstow – On Saturday, 2nd of July, Van der Valk Resort Linstow again acts out the motto of cowboys and Native Americans. From 10.00am onwards the resort invites young and old visitors to the big TIPI-Day in the Native American and Western village of the hotel. They can use the various range of the event the whole day long, among others tinkering Native American decoration, pony riding, canoeing on the “Tukanosea”, archery, placer mining, bouncing castle, bread-on-a-stick, torchlight hike and much more. The entrance fee is € 10.00. Additionally an accommodation in a TIPI-tent is possible.

A further highlight of the TIPI-Day will be the 5^th edition of the popular Native American Show at 7 pm. This year's story is “The Iron Path”, a railway which is going to be built illegally through the area of the Native Americans. The entrance fee is € 5.00 for adults and € 3.00 for children. The visitors can look forward to an exciting story and a breathtaking spectacle with Native Americans and cowboys as well as many stunt and show elements. Besides the performances of professional actors of Neu Damerow and Wolfgang Kring above all the more than 30 staff members of the resort characterize the spectacle. Further shows are taking place in July and August each on Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the open-air theatre.

Van der Valk Resort Linstow opens its doors and shines in a new gloss

Linstow - On the occasion of the 10^th birthday the Resort Linstow opened its door in a new design to present the world of recovering, experience and family fun on 65 hectare to the nearly 2,000 interested guests. Among numerous activities like face-painting for the kids, pony riding and the Western show attractive prizes at the wheel of fortune or a relaxing hand peeling in the big wellness area lured. Those who were still unsure where to make holiday could take a look at one of the cottages or get to know the modern establishment of the hotel rooms. At 3 pm the highlight was up for execution. Together with the visitors the resort set the record for the longest ballon line of Mecklenburg Western-Pommerania. All in all the result of the day is: Van der Valk Resort Linstow has made many families happy again.

Linstow – The Van der Valk Resort Linstow GmbH has drawn a successful business balance at its 10^th jubilee and stands by now for one of the biggest success stories in the German tourism industry. Since the opening of the biggest holiday, leisure and conference resort of the region in May 2001 the company has listed more than four million accommodations. The average annual utilisation of more than 75 % is noticeable above the country's average. The Resort started with 45 % in 2001 / 2002.

With presently almost 200 employees, part-time employees and trainees the number of employees has doubled compared to 2001. Additionally there are more than 100 additional employees of local companies, e. g. a cleaning and security company and shop operators. Besides numerous employments in local suppliers to industry and service companies has been assured durable because of the successful acting of the resort.

In the past years the company worked for the increasement of quality, the extension of the range of housing as well as the development of free time and recovering opportunities, especially for families and children. This resulted in the development of e. g. a miniature golf area, wellness and sauna area - indoor and outdoor -, riding and fishing area, kindergarten with Miniclub, Western and Tipi village and a multifunction court since 2001. A facility report has been ordered for a theme park behind the resort.

As a result of the strong opening of the business to the region the resort has developed not only to a leisure facility in demand but also to a popular event location for the execution of conferences, family, business and association events. The company has advanced to an important event center in Mecklenburg Western-Pomerania. More than 50 big events have been executed in Linstow in the last years. There are for example Apres Ski parties, NDR Summer tour, numerous folk music, Christmas and special concerts, “Mister Germany” voting or the biking days which have taken part in Mecklenburg Western-Pomerania the first time as well as the barbeque championship. In line with these events which have been visited by almost 200,000 local guests already more than 100 famous artists have given a guest performance in Linstow.

Since 2008 the “Golf Hotel Serrahn” and since 2010 the “Resort Drewitzer See” are run by the Resort Linstow and are among others because of the golf course in Serrahn (extension to 18-hole in 2012) an important supplement to the conception of the resort. Additionally the “Fahrgastgesellschaft Krakow am See” offers further touristic proposals as a partner business. It includes the “Seehotel” and the passenger shipping in Krakow am See, the technical memorial “Wassermühle Kuchelmiß” with mill museum and mill barn in Kuchelmiß or the hunting school “Falkenhorst”.

In the past years the resort has received numerous awards. The multi-awarded cachet “Geprüfte Ferienqualität MV” of the tourism organisation, the NECKERMANN PRIMO 2007 and 2010 as well as different “awards” of the tour operator ITS. At the evening the Van der Valk Resort will be awarded with the cachet “Service Q”.
